What an afternoon we had hosting our annual Christmas Party at the Glasgow Marriott Hotel with over 350+ attendees from social clubs we support from in and around Glasgow!! ❄️
The day started off with a welcome message from our CEO, Morag Mcintosh. Our incredible host and live entertainment on the day was from: Edward Reid (Britain’s Got Talent) and this followed onto the Afternoon Tea as well as games and a raffle.
Over £1,000 was raised in total for Glasgow’s Golden Generation. This will, in turn, help our charity to tackle loneliness and social isolation by providing care in the autumn years via our day centres, befriending service, weekly clubs and welfare services.
A massive thank you to our wonderful team of volunteers for their time and commitment throughout the day. With a special thanks to J & JR Wilson Trust and the Glasgow Festive Fund for sponsoring this event.
