Care in the autumn years

The first Men’s 10K took place in Glasgow in 2004, and is back for 2022 taking place in our beautiful city on Sunday 19th June. Maybe you’ve not done any exercise in a while and need a goal to motivate you, maybe you want to challenge your mates, or maybe you want to raise some cash for a worthwhile cause – whatever your reason, the Men’s 10K is the perfect opportunity for you to lace up those trainers and make a difference, either to your own life or someone else’s.

Please join Team GGG and sign up to raise funds for Glasgow’s Golden Generation and help us support older people across Greater Glasgow. The city centre route starts outside the Riverside Museum before heading east along the River Clyde passing the Glasgow Science Centre, The Armadillo, The SECC and the SSE Hydro, continuing down Saltmarket, to Glasgow Green and the People’s Palace before finishing in George Square.

Once you have signed up we would be happy to provide you with a t-shirt to train in or even run in on the day so please email us your details to fundraising@glasgowgg.org.uk and we will get one posted to you. Sponsorship can also be raised by setting up a Justgiving page. Justgiving is a great way to raise sponsorship as you can text or email or post on social media your unique link and then people can donate in a few easy clicks to your page and you don’t have the hassle of collecting in the cash as it is all paid directly to us. Good luck!
